Shaktiman-Grimme is a joint venture between the Indian company Shaktiman and the German company Grimme, headquartered in Gujarat, India. The company develops and manufactures compact, efficient, and farmer-centric machines for planting, harvesting, and handling root and tuber crops, with a particular focus on potatoes. The tailored solutions for the Indian market are characterized by innovative technology combined with ease of use, aiming to increase farmers benefits while reducing losses.
Responsibilities
- Representation of Grimme's interests as 50% partner in the Indian joint venture Shaktiman-Grimme
- Creation of long-term strategies and derivation of targets
- Monitoring operational performance using KPIs and initiating measures in the event of deviations
- Monitoring of the market and promotion of marketing and sales activities
- Identifying potential savings in production and supply chain to ensure competitiveness
Qualification
- Several years of experience in strategic sales, manufacturing processes and supply chain optimization in India
- Bachelor or Master degree in Business Economics, Agricultural Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experienced in inspiring and guiding people and teams through collaboration, partnership, and communication rather than formal authority
- Strong intercultural competence and ability to navigate Indo-German business dynamics
- Native speaker of Hindi is a must. Business fluent in English
- Willingness to be based in India or travel regularly to and from Germany
